About this event

Communication Skills for Better Relationships: Authentic Relating & the Art of Apology

Join us for a two-hour experiential workshop designed to help you strengthen your communication skills and deepen your relationships, whether they are romantic, platonic, or otherwise.

In this month's session, we’ll explore tools from Authentic Relating that foster honest, connected conversations, and we’ll dive into the anatomy of a meaningful apology. Whether you struggle to express your feelings, want to repair after conflict, or just crave more clarity and connection, this space is for you.

Expect a mix of guided exercises, partner practices, and group sharing in a supportive and inclusive environment. You’ll leave with practical tools you can start using right away in your relationships.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Practice listening and speaking with greater presence and awareness
  • Learn the five essential components of a real apology
  • Explore vulnerability, boundaries, and truth-telling through authentic relating games
  • Discover new ways to stay connected, even in moments of conflict

This event is beginner friendly, trauma-informed, and rooted in values of consent and emotional safety. You’re welcome to come solo or with a friend or partner.
