Ready to dive into a full day of drawing, inspiration, and artistic camaraderie?
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this Draw-a-thon welcomes all who love working from life—yes, painters too!
Join us for up to 10 hours of immersive figure drawing in a vibrant, supportive community. Choose from three ticket options:
🎟 All-Day Access ($125) – Come and go as you please between 10 AM and 8 PM
🎟 4-Hour Block ($50) – Perfect if you want a creative escape during your day
🎟 2-Hour After Work Block ($30) – Perfect creative wind-down after your day, 6 to 8 PM
🧑🎨 What to Expect:
✔️ Large room with two live, clothed and/or costumed models
✔️ A mix of quick gesture poses and long sustained ones
✔️ Welcoming space for all levels—no instruction, just focused drawing
✔️ Walkable access to coffee shops, lunch spots, waterfront, and plenty of art vibes

Sketchbook, drawing or painting supplies, and your creative energy!

Not at all! All-day registrants are welcome to come and go throughout the event. Feel free to take breaks, grab lunch, or step out for fresh air.
Yes! If you'd like to join for more than 4 hours but can’t commit to the full day, you may register for multiple 4-hour blocks.
Absolutely! This is a self-directed figure drawing session open to all skill levels. While there's no formal instruction, the environment is welcoming, inclusive, and perfect for learning by doing.
No. This particular draw-a-thon will feature clothed and costumed models to add variety to your drawing and painting practice, and to offer a different experience within the draw-a-thon series.
Please bring your own sketchbook, pencils, charcoal, paints, brushes, or any other preferred media. Easels, seating, and limited surfaces are available. Comfortable clothing, shoes, and water bottles are encouraged.
There is no formal lunch break, but you may step out at any time. The location is surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and coffee shops within a three-block walk for easy access to food and refreshments.
Yes! Painters are welcome. Please be mindful of the limited personal space and ventilation, and bring supplies that are portable, have low odor, and are easy to clean up.
Attendees must be 18 years or older. However, students who are 15+ may attend with a note from a parent or guardian.
No photography or recording of any kind is allowed in the draw-a-thon to respect the privacy of the models and the other participants.
There is street parking in the neighborhood on Royal, Fairfax, and Third Streets.
