Take a deep dive into the art and alchemy of fresh plant distillation using a copper Alembic still. Beginning with the history of steam distillation, we will move into creating our very own Hydrosol together using the Alembic. While we watch our Hydrosol come to life we will discuss the current applications and benefits of working with plants in this way.

Meet Your Teacher

Meaghan is an herbal practitioner and herb farmer in West Virginia where she owns and operates Blooming Mountains Botanical Sanctuary with her husband. Her focus is on helping people find wholistic wellness through education, plant allies and nature. She strives to provide the highest quality herbal preparations from her farm.

Refund Policy

· All class ticket sales are considered a donation to Fox Haven and help us to fulfill our mission. Full refunds (minus a 20% processing fee) will be given to any participant canceling at least 30 days prior to the scheduled class date. Due to the nature of full series commitments, no refunds will be processed once the series has started.

· Enrollment cannot be transferred to another class. If you are within the 30-day cancellation period, it is best to request a refund and sign up for the desired replacement.
