WCNY invites you to attend “The American Revolution” screening and discussion event on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. at the WCNY-TV Studios!

Join us as we explore the pivotal moments that united the colonies and forged a new nation in “The American Revolution.” Directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt, this new series offers a powerful look at the birth of a nation. Watch exclusive clips from “The American Revolution” before its premiere and take part in a live Q&A with local experts.

This event will be held in person at the WCNY-TV Studios. Doors open at 4 p.m. with a welcome reception and light refreshments, followed by the screening and discussion at 4:30 p.m.

The American Revolution, Six-Part Series:

Thirteen American colonies unite in rebellion, win an eight-year war to secure their independence, and establish a new form of government that would inspire democratic movements at home and around the globe. What begins as a political clash between colonists and the British government grows into a bloody struggle that will engage more than two dozen nations and forever change the world.
