The 9th International Workshop in Sequential Methodologies is hosted by American University in Washington DC on June 1-4, 2026, to continue an almost 20-year history of IWSM. Focus areas include sequential and group sequential testing, adaptive designs, multi-stage inference, clinical trials, change-point detection, selection and ranking, machine learning, optimal stopping, reliability and survival analysis, stochastic approximation, and related fields of probability, statistics, and applications. Students and early-career researchers can apply for travel support. See the conference web site for details.

Registration includes access to all the conference events and activities, breakfasts, lunches, and coffee breaks, the conference banquet, the Washington DC city bus tour, and the 2-hour Potomac river cruise with hors d'oevures.

Guest registration includes the conference banquet, the Washington DC city bus tour, and the Potomac river cruise with hors d'oevures. Each accompanying guest must be linked to a registered conference participant.
