About this event
This premier event of Carmichael will be held at the Jensen Botanical Garden, located at 8520 Fair Oaks Blvd., Carmichael, and will be catered by Hawks. Your participation will help provide scholarships for underprivaleged youth for park and recreation activities, and will help with improvements of Carmichael parks and facilities, including enhancements of the Sutter Community Garden and the Charles Jensen Botanical Garden. It is truly a community celebration of our passion to reach the under-served children and families in our community through scholarship opportunities.
Dinner in the Park Evening at a Glance…
Visit with friends at the wine and beer reception at Sutter Community Garden and enjoy
the jazz stylings of the famed Henry Robinett Trio.
Stroll the tree-lined wine and musical trail leading to the Jensen Botanical Garden and enjoy 3 additional musical groups along the way.
Enjoy a gourmet meal prepared by Hawks served on elaborately dressed dining tables in the botanical garden.
Finally, dance under the stars to Wasted Space, voted “Best Concert In The Park Band”, 2024!

Voted California Non Profit of the Year in 2021, Dinner in the Park is the Foundation’s premier fundraising event, and 100% of monies raised will go back into youth education and recreation scholarships,
and park improvements.

Suggested Attire is Garden Party Casual. `The garden area has uneven terrain, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear.
There is NO parking at Jensen Botanical Garden or the upper gardens off of Sutter. Please park in the Carmichael Elementary Parking Lot for shuttle service. Shuttle Buses depart from Carmichael Elementary School, located at 6141 Sutter Ave, Carmichael.
Yes, all attendees must be 21 or older.
Golf Carts will be available for those needing assistance
