About this event
Welcome to PARSE - the Playground for Authentic Relational Skills Exploration!
Join us on Sun, Oct. 19, 2025 at 2:30 PM in Boulder for an exciting event dedicated to honing your interpersonal skills in a fun and interactive setting.
We are focusing on Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent. This life changing work gets us out of tolerating, enduring, resentment, and meh into clarity, enjoyment, open-hearted fun (and deep growth). Personally, this is one of the keystone life-changing concepts I've encountered in my 25 years of personal and professional growth. Absolutely life-changing!
PARSE is all clothing on and non-sexual.
No previous experience is necessary.
In October we will explore the 3-Minute Game which focuses on consent, giving, receiving, touch, and clear communication. Developed by Betty Martin and Harry Faddis and played by thousands (or is it millions by now?) of people all over the world, this game is a game-changer for relationships. It can also be played with speaking and listening if you'd like to explore without touching.
In September we explored the serve-accept dynamic in both talking and touch. All who participated got to ask "How would you like me to touch you for your pleasure?" Then take a sacred pause to feel your own boundaries, your own yes and no, and your own wholehearted willing.
In August we explored the take-allow dynamic in both talking and touch. Participants had the opportunity to ask "How would you like to touch me for your pleasure?".
The dynamics of take-allow and serve-accept are very different. Knowing the difference sets you free. Come play on the Wheel and find out for yourself.
At PARSE, you'll have the opportunity to engage in various activities and exercises designed to help you develop authentic connections with others. Whether you're looking to improve your communication skills, build trust, or simply meet new people, this event is the perfect place to do so.
Come ready to step out of your comfort zone, challenge yourself, and have a great time in the process. We can't wait to see you there!
Please visit Betty Martin's website at https://www.wheelofconsent.org to learn more about the Wheel of Consent. There are links to free video trainings, her book "The Art of Receiving and Giving" and live paid trainings. The event photo is taken from Betty's website.
I, Kassandra, have had the supreme pleasure of attending Like a Pro, the 5-day professional training on the Wheel of Consent, three separate times with Betty Martin. (Yes it's good enough to fly, pay, and take 5 days out of my life multiple times!) I've also attended her training for Wheel of Consent facilitators and taught this work to both groups and clients. I'm excited to share it with you!
