More recently, the conference took place in Rome, Italy (2019), and Barcelona, Spain (2020), ICMRE shifted to an online format, in collaboration with the Southern University of Science and Technology, China from 2021 to 2023, and in Milan, Italy(2024), Lille, France(2025) .
