Artists can rap, sing, perform poetry, recite their writings, tell jokes, and so much more! Keep in mind that artists will have access to a microphone, speakers, and the ability to play backing tracks.

How long can artists perform?

We are asking performers to keep their sets under `10 minutes.

Come By Here presents the Thin Veil Open Mic!

In honor of Hoodoo Heritage Month, we are hosting a pop-up open-mic night at the historic Harlem Theatre in Baltimore to give Black Queer community members a platform to share what is on their hearts, minds, and spirits.

About the organizers: We are two Black Trans Disabled housing-insecure artists who are trying to recover from two years (and whole lives of) survival mode. Ticket sales will go toward helping us build a camper that we can finally, safely live in, with our two lovely cats.
