Learning Summary: The early years are critically important for brain development. It is the time of greatest opportunity to nurture positive, strong brain development and also the time of greatest vulnerability. This session will discuss what factors lead to a healthy brain as well as what can inhibit healthy growth and development.
Learning Outcomes:
1 . Learners will identify factors that affect brain growth and development.
2 . Learners will understand the effects of stress on brain development.
3 . Learners will learn about the 5 R's for supporting healthy brain development
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three-question quiz or test at the end of each training.
