Welcome to Terms & Conditions: Artists in Dialogue! Join us at the University Museum at Texas Southern University for a closing community conversation featuring the artists of "Terms and Conditions: The Promise vs. Reality" Exhibition, currently on view at the University Museum. This event brings together artists to discuss their work, inspirations, research, and the creative process. To learn more about he exhibition and artists, please visit the website HERE.

Artists include: Ann Johnson, Nathaniel Donnett, Alexis Pye, Cat Martinez, Kaneem Smith, Tay Butler, Anthony Suber, Phillip Pyle II, and Brian Ellison.

The artist talk will be moderated by Amarie Gipson, owner and writer of The Reading Room. Founded and directed by Amarie Gipson in 2023, The Reading Room is a Houston-based independent reference library dedicated to increasing access to Black art and culture through literature, print media, and community engagement.
