About this event
What if those squirming, yearning, anxious parts inside of us could show us how to care for ourselves and each other more deeply? What might it be like to listen in and explore these feelings in a new way? Through the embodied, relational, and creative approach of Gestalt therapy we can explore the messages of these “creatures” within ourselves and discover new ways of tending to challenging feelings.
This workshop is part of a fundraising series, WORKSHOPS FOR PALESTINE. All proceeds will be donated to support a family of 6 living in “Area C” of the West Bank (where Palestinians are experiencing high levels of expulsion and violence) to flee to safety. More information about this campagin available on the “Chuffed” donation page. Additional workshops can be found here.
FACILITATOR: Mira Pinkus, RP, DipGIT (Gestalt therapist, Registered Psychotherapist)
Frequently asked questions
The content of this workshop is not related to Palestine but will focus on therapeutic explorations of our own embodied experiences.
This is a series of workshops led by Mira Pinkus to support a couple of families trying to flee the West Bank to safety. Mira became connected with these families through her volunteer work with PAB: Palestinian Arabic Bridge. As a therapist, this is the best way for her to fundraise!
Payments will be received by Mira (in Canada) who will transfer the money directly to Tony and Issa, the PAB teachers who are trying to get themselves and their families from the escalating dangers in the West Bank to safety.
