The theme for this outing will be Candid Moments.
We’ll meet at Marina Heights Garage (300 Rio Salado Pkwy) in Tempe, then head down S. Mill Ave, take a right on W. University Drive, and loop back via Ashe Ave toward the garage. This route gives us plenty of variety — from busy sidewalks and storefronts to quiet alleys and warm light reflecting off the buildings.
This free meetup is all about learning, shooting, and sharpening your eye for street photography. Whether you’re new to the camera or already confident behind the lens, you’ll leave with better instincts and some dope shots.
What you’ll learn:
• The rules of street photography — who you can photograph, what’s legal, and what to avoid
• How to balance ISO, shutter speed, and aperture to nail exposure on the fly
• How to use light, architecture, and people to make your shots feel more cinematic
• Tips for staying comfortable and confident shooting in public
Bring your camera (or even your phone), comfortable shoes, and an open mind. We’ll talk, shoot, and learn together as the sun goes down.
Led by RawShootr, this is your chance to practice the art of seeing — not just taking pictures, but capturing life as it happens.
