Telehandler J3 Experienced Operator - 3 days

Welcome to certified Telehandler J3 Experienced Operator - 3 days training event! Join us at Verda Park on January 19th - 21st 2026 at 08:00 AM GMT for an exciting 3-day course. The Experienced Operator Course is for those who have previously had a Telehandler licence, but it has expired.

The course will cover:

Day 1:

• Registration, course overview, statutory requirements (HASAWA)
• Machine introduction: motive & steering controls, hydraulics, and load handling basics
• Starting, stopping, emergency procedures
• Steering exercises: basic, advanced, and 90° approaches
• Battery charging and maintenance

Day 2:

• Recap and operator safety code
• Engineering principles: rated capacity, stability, load types
• Advanced steering and load handling assessments
• Stacking/de-stacking at various heights, bulk stacking, ramps, and corner load location

Day 3:

• Stacking/de-stacking in racking and supervised systems practice
• Vehicle loading and unloading
• Knowledge test, pre-use inspection, and practical basic skills testing

Please note this is a 3 day course and you must attend every day of the training to receive the certification. Please ensure you bring with you a valid form of ID, your UK National Insurance number and proof of previous training.
