Art making studio space and instruction for teens to connect and build skills across a variety of art media and techniques. This month's theme is Portrait Making. Practice drawing and painting with proportion, color, and shadow.

Kayla Ellis is a licensed and nationally board-certified visual arts teacher with a BFA in Art Education. She taught at Surry County Schools, Surry Community College, Surry Arts Council, and with Crisanthemum Ceramics. She explores color and design through arts, quilt making, and gardening.
