TEDxBerkeley 2016: Finding x.
Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PST)
We're not trying to dig up your traumatic memories of high school algebra.
TEDxBerkeley has a different spin on the letter "x". How do we find solutions to our world's imperfections? How do we begin to identify these problems, and once we've locked onto them, how do we make sense of them in the larger systems to which they belong?
Whether it be voyaging into uncharted technological or scientific territory, reconciling our diverse perspectives of the human condition, or unearthing the parts of ourselves that give our lives direction and meaning, we all hope to make an impact on this world by Finding x. And in this journey--albeit brief--we hope to better understand what it means to be human.

The Regents' and Chancellor's Scholarship is UC Berkeley's most prestigious scholarship for incoming students, and is awarded annually to approximately 200 incoming undergraduates, including freshmen (for four years) and entering advanced standing students (for two years). Approximately 800 Scholars (new and continuing) are enrolled at Cal each year. All of these scholars are automatically part of the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholars Association (RCSA), a student-run organization that offers academic, professional, community and social activities/opportunities for its members. Most importantly, RCSA is an organization through which scholars can meet other scholars, through both academic or social settings.
In order to purchase these tickets in installments, you'll need an Eventbrite account. Log in or sign up for a free account to continue.
