About this event
Samantha Kilgore from NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center provides an
overview of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center to include its lines of
business, field centers, and strategic goals, specifically as it relates to
the Strategic Partnerships Office. She will discuss technology transfer,
software release, partnerships, and unique capabilities that are
beneficial to the industry.
Samantha Kilgore is a Technology Liaison Specialist for NASA’s
Goddard Space Flight Center in the Strategic Partnerships Office. She’s
been a part of the Goddard family now for 14 years. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in business
law and a Master’s degree in organizational development with a focus
in strategic innovation and change management. Samantha is active
with the Federal Labs Consortium and leads several projects for
economic development.

The incubator endeavors to help diversify the local business environment of Southern Maryland. Operated under contract by the University of Maryland, TechPort targets startup and early-stage companies that specialize in unmanned and autonomous systems and commercialization of Navy technology. The incubator offers premier office and development space, including high-quality 3-D printers, a general machine shop, strategic advising, and expanded funding opportunities.
