What is the Technovation Challenge?

The Technovation Challenge is a technology entrepreneurship program and competition for young women. Through our intensive 3-month, 50-hour curriculum, teams of young women work together to imagine, design, and develop mobile apps, then pitch their “startup” businesses to judges.

Almost 3,000 young women from 28 countries have created mobile apps through Technovation, thanks to dedicated local volunteers on the ground worldwide. No prior programming experience is necessary for students, for teachers, or for mentors. The program is free to all participants.

For more info, check out the Ed Foundation's Technovation page or the main Technovation website.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

LogMeIn is not far from South Station in Boston and is easily accessed via the T (Red Line), numerous bus routes, and commuter rail lines. There is select metered street parking - make sure to read posted signs! There are numerous parking lots in the area, most with reduced rates on the weekend, but not all. Make sure to read all signage, or use a parking app such as SpotHero for assistance.

Can little brothers or sisters, parents, or other friends come?

Yes! Of course! Please register as guests so we'll make sure to have enough food.
