Event description

Description

Tremendous advances in science and technology have enabled greater understanding of the brain, and yet mental health care remains inaccessible and relatively ineffective for much of the world's population. On November 6-7 at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, the McLean Institute for Technology in Psychiatry (ITP) will bring together thought leaders in health care, data science, technology, industry, patient advocacy, academic research and more for a two-day summit to build on the promise of technology in the diagnosis and delivery of mental health care.

Attendees will examine the current state of mental health care and determine how the use of advanced technology can build a more accessible future. Our goal is to chart a pragmatic path forward by articulating a shared vision, establishing common principles, and forging new collaborations that will accelerate progress in the development of innovative approaches with the potential to reach all individuals whose lives are affected by mental illness.
