Description: Join us for this introductory discussion on the technology tools that birders and naturalists can apply to their endeavors in the field and at home to increase their knowledge, improve their experience and support science and conservation efforts. The speakers will share a light history of technology used by birders over the years to provide context, discuss common current tools like eBird and Facebook birding groups, provide insights into the evolution of popular wildlife documentation tools (including mobile birding tools), and describe how technology can be a benefit for birders seeking to support conservation activity.
