Tech Weekend San Francisco | December 5–6, 2025

The best startup event in San Francisco for tech founders actively fundraising from Pre-Seed to Series A.

This December, we’re introducing an important upgrade: a curated selection process for founders who want to go beyond networking and actively fundraise.

Types of Admission

🔹 All-Access Pass
Open to any founder, builder, or innovator. With this pass, attendees can:
• Join founder networking gatherings
• Attend VC Panel Talks and Fireside Chats
• Attend the Pitch Competition and Crowdfunding Rounds

🔹 Tech Weekend Cohort
For founders who are post-product and actively fundraising. Through a selection process, we will handpick startups in deep tech and frontier technologies that align with investor theses and actively match them with VCs during Tech Weekend.

This pass covers everything in the All-Access Pass plus:
• VC Office Hours: Active matching with investors by stage and focus during VC Office Hours = 1:1 investor meetings
• Pitch Competition: A chance to pitch live in front of investors during the Pitch Competition and Crowdfunding Showcase

Selection Process
To join the Tech Weekend Cohort, simply apply or purchase the pass. Our team will review your application to make sure your startup aligns with the investors in attendance.
In some cases, we may schedule a short interview call to learn more about your company and fundraising goals.

This process ensures that both founders and investors are well-matched — making every meeting and introduction meaningful.
If you’re not currently fundraising, or prefer a more open networking experience, the standard All-Access Pass is perfect for you.

🔹 Exhibitor Pass
For startups and companies who want to showcase their products directly to founders and investors. Includes:
• A branded exhibitor table in the showcase area
• 5 All-Access Team Passes for your team to join panels, networking, and activities

🔹 Day Pass (Friday or Saturday)
Perfect for founders or professionals who can only attend one day of Tech Weekend —

Includes:
• Full-day access to all scheduled activities for that day
• VC Panels, Founder Networking, and Pitch Competition sessions (depending on the day’s agenda)
• Light breakfast and refreshments

A flexible way to experience the energy of Tech Weekend — even if you can’t make the full program.

Day 1 — Friday, December 5

Theme: Investor Alignment & Deep Tech Innovation

🕘 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM | Opening & Breakfast Networking
Start your Tech Weekend with light breakfast, coffee, and connections. Meet fellow founders, investors, and partners before sessions begin.
☕ Complimentary breakfast and coffee provided.

Parallel Activity: VC Office Hours (10 AM – 5 PM)
Pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings between founders and investors, each 15–20 minutes long. Matches are based on industry and stage fit. Only Tech Weekend Cohort members have access to book these meetings in advance.

🕚 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | VC Panel: “Venture Outlook 2025 — Where Investors Are Betting Next”
Top VCs share their 2025 outlook on AI, Deep Tech, Fintech, Climate Tech, and Health Tech. Includes audience Q&A.

🕧 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM | Crowdfunding Pitch Showcase
A featured startup presents its live crowdfunding campaign in front of VC panelists and the audience.

🕐 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM | Lunch Break + Open Networking
Complimentary lunch served (Vegetarian, Halal, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options available).

🕝 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM | Workshop: “Fundraising Tactics from a Founder’s Perspective”
A founder shares actionable fundraising lessons and investor management tips. Parallel VC Office Hours continue.

🕓 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Deep Tech Pitch Competition
5–7 startups in Deep Tech and Frontier Tech pitch live to 3–5 VC judges. Audience voting and crowdfunding participation included.

🕖 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Founder & Investor Mixer
Wrap up Day 1 with drinks and informal networking among founders and investors.

Day 2 — Saturday, December 6

Theme: AI Innovation & Founder Stories

Parallel Activity: VC Office Hours (10 AM – 5 PM)
Pre-scheduled 1:1 investor meetings continue throughout the day for Tech Weekend Cohort members.

Light breakfast and coffee to kick off Day 2 with new connections.

🕚 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | VC Panel: “AI & Frontier Tech — Funding the Next Wave of Breakthroughs”
Investors discuss how AI and Frontier Tech will shape the next era of venture investing.

🕛 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM | Lunch Break + Networking
Complimentary lunch served with dietary options available.

🕑 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Founder Workshop: “Inside the Fundraise — Tactics That Closed the Round”
A successful founder shares fundraising strategies, outreach timing, and negotiation tips.

🕓 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM | AI Pitch Competition + Crowdfunding Showcase
5–7 AI startups pitch live to VC judges, followed by a crowdfunding segment where the audience can participate and vote in real time. Winners announced at the end of the session.

🕖 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Founder & Investor Mixer
Celebrate the close of Tech Weekend with drinks and final networking sessions.

Paid parking is available throughout the Presidio, typically around $2.50–$3 per hour or $12–$15 per day. You can pay at on-site pay stations or via the PayByPhone app.
