Martin Pichlmair is a Game Designer and Associate Professor at ITU, and he emphasizes that gamification has been a buzzword for many years but designing an engaging product is still a challenge. Martin will propose an alternative to virtual rewards: rewarding interaction with your product by making microinteractions pleasurable and understanding user motivation. This talk will present starting points for rethinking your design process.
