Can I receive units from SJSU for my participation in this event?

Yes! But the cost will be $200 per unit. Unfortunately we cannot offer units at a lower cost due to university fees, but we can, however, offer the first 25 registered teachers $100 stipends for their participation which can be used towards the units if the participant would like.

How do I receive my $100 stipend?

Our admin team will be in touch to complete the paperwork needed by the university to issue checks. After, the university will process the paperwork. Checks are typically sent out several weeks after the event.

Why won't all teachers who participate receive a $100 stipend?

Our PD programs are funded by grant money we receive from the state. We were able to budget this event to provide 25 teachers with stipends. Due to overwhelming demand, we decided to open the event up to more teachers even though our budget does not allow us to stipend everyone.
