Overview

Join us to explore strategies for building classroom community & meaningful connections that help students value learning.

As AI transforms higher education, the irreplaceable value of human relationships becomes more evident. This interactive workshop explores evidence-based strategies for fostering meaningful faculty-student and peer connections that deepen engagement and support student success. Drawing from research on relationship-rich education and culturally sustaining pedagogies, participants will examine how intentional relationship-building creates learning communities where students thrive. Through collaborative activities and discussion, you will develop concrete techniques for facilitating connection, building trust, and designing course structures that prioritize relational learning alongside content mastery.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
