Join us for the hometown premiere of Teaching America, a short documentary celebrating the students and educators who joined together - with joy, grace, brilliance and love - to stand up for AP African-American Studies at North Little Rock High School, North Little Rock Center of Excellence and Little Rock Central High School.

The film is 22 minutes long, and will be followed by a discussion with the students and educators in the film, and Director Anurima Bhargava, with a reception to follow.

Doors: 6 PM

Film Screening (22 mins): 6:30 PM

Discussion and Q&A with Film Participants: 7 PM

Reception: 7:45 PM

This is a story of this moment in America: of the wisdom, boundless curiosity and unflinching desire to learn that extend across boundaries and generations, and are now coming up against efforts to erase our history, culture, and humanity.
