Event description

Description

The countdown to Texas’ March 3 primary is on, which means the news is packed with debate coverage, campaign stumping, candidate soundbites and pollster stats. But what should you really be looking out for to be an informed voter this year?

Join The Texas Tribune for our first Teach Me How to Texas event to make sure you know the biggest issues in play before you head to the polls in March. Tribune political reporters Cassi Pollock and Alex Samuels will be joined by the Austin American-Statesman's Ryan Autullo to talk about the candidates, races and topics they’re watching heading into primary season. What surprises might we see from the primary, and what do they mean for November’s general election? Join us for this happy hour event to find out everything you need to know before you cast your vote.
