The class Is eight weeks long and we will meet in person every Thursday morning beginning July 10 at 10:00 am on the Saddleback Lake Forest campus in MO2.
What is it? All families face difficulties, but for some, these difficulties can turn into seasons without an adequate intervention. That's where TBRI, Trust Based Relational Intervention, offers families with the latest evidence-based principles with a timeless biblical perspective. You’ll learn proven tools that strengthen connection and work for all ages. The video-based class is taught by the late Dr. Karyn Purvis, the cofounder of TBRI.
Who is it for? This course Is designed for volunteers and caregivers who serve children and families who have been Impacted by trauma and adverse experiences. Every relationship you have will be positively impacted by the relational skills you will learn In this class.
Includes a free workbook. This 8-week study is facilitated by Marilyn Clark. She is a mom and retired special needs educator who has extensive experience practicing TBRI in her home and community. She will also share how ACEs and TBRI relate to each other. The content of this class follows the chapters of The Connected Child book.
