Taylor Swift Candle Making Class
Overview
Step into your candle girl making era and join us for a cozy, creative night at Island Candles! Inspired by the life of a showgirl — full of sparkle, confidence, and a little drama — this workshop is all about having fun, letting loose, and making something beautiful while jamming to some Taylor tunes.
You’ll pour your own Taylor Swift–inspired candle, choosing your favorite era or vibe — maybe a dreamy Lover floral, a moody Reputation amber, or a bright 1989 citrus. While your candle cools, you’ll get to make friendship bracelets, and even use beads or charms to decorate your candle.
Bring your besties, your favorite drink (BYOB 🍷), and settle in for an evening of music, laughter, and creativity. We’ll provide the tools & you unleash you inner creativity!
Island Candles is located at 1230 Folly Rd on James Island. You can park in the back parking lot and our entrance is the back door or side door (we share the location with another business, Arcanna).

How do you want to get there?
Instruction, Design & Wax pour
An instructor will walk through all the essentials of making your perfect candle.
Wax dry time & food/drink/socialization
Time allotted for your candle to dry, for you to eat, drink & socialize (or shop). The instructor will be watching your candles during this time. We will let you know when the candles are dry, go over candle care tips (shown on your candle care card given) and show you how to finalize your candle & add and beeswax toppers of your choice. Then you are ready to take your candle home! Please allow 24-48 hours of dry time for your candle to cure before lighting it for the first time.
Finish custom-made candles!
We will help you finish your custom-made candles so they look professionally purchased! You are then ready to take your candle home with you - but make sure to wait at least 24-48 hours before your first burn.
