On October 11 and 12, I'm throwing open the doors of my studio at Root Division to welcome in friends old and new!
You'll have a chance to see what I've been working on this year, talk about art and environmentalism with me, and peek behind-the-scenes to see how I create a painting from start to finish. I'll also have lots of original art and prints for sale, ready to take home that day.
This event is part of SF Open Studios, a five-weekend long art extravaganza that's been an institution in San Francisco for more than 50 years. Four other artists with studios in the same building are participating, plus many others in the same neighborhood, so if desired you'll have a chance to experience work from many different artists.
Details:
- Location: Root Division, Studio 206 (1131 Mission St)
- Dates: Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th
- Times: 11am to 5pm each day
- RSVPing: I've broken the available "tickets" into 2-hour slots on each day (11-1, 1-3, and 3-5). Just pick when approximately you think you'll show up, but I won't hold you to it!
***Note that RSVPing via this Eventbrite is not required, just helps me assess how many folks I'll be welcoming throughout the weekend! If you want to bring along extra friends (or forget to RSVP altogether), that's more than fine — all are welcome!!
