Taste the World — Gyozas, Mochi, and International Friendship in Yokota

Join USA Girl Scouts Overseas for another delicious session of our Taste the World program series! For 3+years, Girl Scouts around the world cooked along with home chefs over Zoom, making everything from Italian eggplant parmigiana to Korean kimchee. Now, Taste the World is coming to life off the Zoom screens and in person with this session in Yokota, Japan.

During this session, Girl Scouts will make gyozas (meat and tofu options) and mochi alongside Girl Scouts of Japan.

This event is open to Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors. Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies will not use the stove but they will be able to help with all the prep work, including sealing and plating the gyozas. The registration fee includes a custom Yokota Taste the World patch (pictured below), all food, and a bottle of water per girl.

If you would like a USAGSO Taste the World patch and apron, those can be purchased as an add-on during registration or separately from our Overseas Girl Scout World Shop. If inventory allows, we will also have the patches and aprons for sale at the event.
