Taste of the South Food Truck Festival FIVE

Calling all food vendors! Join the Hattiesburg Jaycees in partnership with Fairley's Wings & More for the 5th annual Taste of the South Food Truck Fest. Vendor registration is now open for food trucks and tents.

• Vendors must comply with the City of Hattiesburg food vendor policies and registration process. All vendors will be checked day of event for compliance by the Fire Marshall. City of Hattiesburg Ordinance, https://www.hattiesburgms.com/wp-content/uploads/food_truck_ordinance_3286.pdf
• Each vendor space will be 12x12. If you have tents, grills, trucks, etc. that span larger than 12x12 you need to purchase more than one spot.
• Vendors must supply all of their own supplies.
• No water hook-ups are available.
• Power hook-up can be secured for an additional fee. Please purchase a "power hook-up" add-on at the time of registration. Power hook-ups will be on a first come, first serve bases and are extremely limited.
• Vendors will not be allowed to sell beverages of any type without prior written approval from event organizers. Requests can be sent to, hattiesburgjaycees@gmail.com. Absolutely no vendors will be allowed to sell alcohol no exceptions.
• Only food vendors are being accepted at this time
• Any vendor not registered by September 25th, 2024 6 PM CST will not be included in the lineup or allowed to participate in the event day of. Registrations are only being accepted via Eventbrite and must be paid in full prior to Sept 20th, at 6 PM CST. All fully registered vendors will receive an email by September 30th confirming their registration and giving any details.
• Food vendors are responsible for appropriately registering their setup, any vendor who does not register for the correct amount of space will not be allowed to participate in the event and will forfeit their registration fee
• Registration fees include your spot for the event, social media feature of your business leading up to the event on the Hattiesburg Jaycees social media (if you submit your logo, bio, and menu)
• Vendors are responsible for submitting their own logo, bios and menus prior to October 8 in order to be featured on any marketing.
• Vendor registration is on a first-come, first serve basis. A limited number of spots are available. A maximum of three similar vendors will be accepted in each food category.
• Vendor Tax ID# required to participate
• A pre-event session will be held with vendors, event organizers, and the City Fire Marshall, attendance is not required but is strongly encouraged. Details will be sent out via email to anyone fully registered.
• A ll vendors MUST meet the City of Hattiesburg fire code to operate their setup. Vendors do not need to have a City of Hattiesburg Food Truck permit for this event.
• All registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable
• The Taste of the South Food Truck Festival is rain or shine. If there is severe weather, the event will be rescheduled for a later date.
• Event organizers have the right to refuse any food vendor
• Please allow up to three (3) business days for inquiry responses.

Admission to the public is free, each vendor will have their own menu selection/ take their own payments. Live music will be provided.
