TASMN's Monthly Breakfast: Session 17
Overview
We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming community breakfast! 🥐☕ It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy delicious food, great company, and thought-provoking conversation.
This month, we’ll be discussing "Simple Steps to Prevent Foodborne Illness at Home"
Our guest speaker is Amritha Ajayan who is a Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine from India and completed her master’s in animal science at UMN. Her research focuses on foodborne pathogens like Salmonella, where she works on finding natural and innovative ways to improve poultry health and reduce foodborne outbreaks.
Come ready to learn, share your experiences, and connect with others. We’ll also have a wonderful breakfast spread awaiting you! Feel free to contribute to our potluck-style breakfast by bringing a dish or beverage to share with the group. In consideration of dietary restrictions, we kindly ask that all items brought adhere to the following guidelines: halal or vegetarian dishes, fruits, juice, or prepackaged items with Kosher symbols. 🥐🍓☕
Tickets are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot soon. For more information, please contact us at secretary@tasmn.org.
We can’t wait to see you there.
