Rope Play

Rope is more than bondage, it’s an art of connection, seduction, surrender, and control. With ancient roots and modern techniques, it can be deeply relaxing, like being swaddled, or wildly exhilarating, flooding the body with endorphins and adrenaline. For the one tying, rope becomes an extension of your hands, offering endless possibilities, from slow and sensual to rough and thrilling.

What is Energy Play or Lovemaking?

Energy lovemaking is the art of noticing, accessing, and playing with the aliveness all around you.

It’s expanding your definition of sxx far beyond “point A into slot B.”

It’s making love with the sun, the mountains, the ocean, even a passing breeze.

It’s weaving your desires into form through sxx magic.

It’s playing another person’s body like your favorite instrument.

Intimate Leadership & Empowered Surrender

We’ll explore active and receptive energy dynamics, including energetic Yoni and Lingam practices, where everyone has the opportunity to both give and receive.

The evening begins with extended instruction and experiential practice in pairs or small groups before we open the floor to free play. Discover how much fun it is to explore and even switch roles!

Through a combination of tantric practices, sacred eros, and consent and trauma-informed coaching, this shibari and energetic journey will guide you into an altered state of consciousness that allows for your deepest transformation in confidence, self-acceptance, and sensual expression.

No prior rope play experience is required. Basic energy play or power exchange experience is helpful, but not necessary. Couples and singles of all genders and orientations are welcomed. Uncoupled singles will be paired with other singles. Each participant will learn to tie and be tied. Rope and mats will be provided for those who don’t already have them.

The four elements of tantric touch are earth, water, fire, and air and will be used in our play.

What’s a Temple Party?

A Temple Party is a sacred and playful space to slow down, deepen your experience, and honor sensuality as a powerful life-force. There’s no single way to participate: whether you’re actively engaged or prefer to observe, you’re welcome here.

Our intention is to create a safe, stimulating, nurturing, and FUN environment for exploration. All genders, bodies, and orientations are welcome, especially trans, inte queer, and non-binary folks. We actively challenge heteronormative norms and invite authentic expression.
