In this class, you will learn basic steps and footwork to begin walking to the sound of music. We will teach you the basics on the dance embrace and how to connect with a partner. You will learn how to identify the rhythm to dance with a little twist. We will dance to video game classics (Yes, Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog, we are looking at you!). You will be introduced to both roles as leader and follower to have a better experience regardless of gender. Wait a minute, do I need a partner to come to this class? No at all, we are here to share and learn together, so no worries, we got you covered. Just bring some comfy dance shoes or slippers, or you can even dance barefoot! And lastly, we will show you a demonstration, so we hope you enjoy and get inspired to practice with us after class. And the best part, bring a comfortable costume to dance as your favorite videogame character. Looking forward to dancing some game tandas with you at The MADE!
