How do I catch the Tancook Island ferry?

Plan to catch the 10.00 am ferry from the wharf at 12 Water St. Chester, NS. Allow time for unloading and to find parking in the village. Luggage may be dropped off in the silver boxes on the wharf. There is addition parking available on Valley Rd. (a 20 min walk to the quay).

Bring your project(s) and join a friendly group for a day of social textile creativity. Tea, coffee and a light lunch are included. Take a magical ferry ride across Mahone Bay and experience the old world charm of Big Tancook. The Recreation Center is a 5 min walk from the ferry. Transport will be available for luggage and attendees.

Meet our special guest Jess Steponaitis (IG RughookerJess) and have the chance to win one of her rugs in our raffle (to be drawn at the end of the afternoon). All funds raised will be split between the Rec Center and Fire Department.
