NOTE: This is a LIVE in-person class!!!

This 1- and 1/2-day training covers both Tier I and Tier II requirements and will provide private and public employees with the required qualification to conduct inspections of erosion and sedimentation controls for construction sites throughout Florida. This is a very detailed course which demonstrates visual BMPs, and chemical treatment used during actual construction projects. This course covers all MS4 requirements.

*** CLASS will begin at 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Days 1 and 2; Day 2 ends at approximately 3:00 PM.

A closed book examination will be given at the end of class and requires a score of 70 or greater to become an inspector. You will earn CEUs/CECs/ and PDH for this class.

Hal Lunsford is a senior environmentalist with diverse work experience in land use and emergency management planning, landfill management, air pollution specialist, wetlands, and stormwater scientist. He currently owns Lunsford Environmental LLC, an environmental, stormwater erosion and sediment control training and consulting company. Hal has taught thousands of individuals in erosion and sediment control classes since 2000, and has over 47 years as a professional environmentalist and 27 of private and public sector experience in construction site erosion and sediment control inspections. Hal is considered one of the top leading experts in the erosion and sediment control industry.

Hal has been a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) for 20 years and currently serves as the Chairman of the Erosion and Sediment Control Education Track Committee and is the Florida representative for the Florida Southeast Chapter. He is also an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Researching worldwide climate change and necessary preparation has been his latest passion.
