TALK: Memories, Moments, and Creating a Shared Future

The Belmont Team lead a talk about our community, the special moments we've shared at the Belmont Cinema, and how we can create new memories. This talk will share stories submitted during the Save the Belmont Campaign, special moments from the cinema's history and provide an update about the cinema project and how we can come together now to start creating new memories again.

This talk will be held in the currently closed Belmont Cinema Screen 1, and has been created to support the 2025 Doors Open Day programme, Architectural Heritage: Windows to the Past, Doors to the Future , celebrating the rich diversity of buildings that surround us, exploring buildings and infrastructure of all styles and scales. From a heritage perspective, we can appreciate the design, scale, form, and decorative beauty, not only in the grand buildings and monuments of cities, but also in the streets and houses in which we work and live. Every village, town, and city had its own architectural heritage, reflecting local history, culture, and economy.
