Join us for an evening of music, community, and giving back at our annual recital. We’re excited to welcome you on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the historic Clinton Street Theater in SE Portland—where the thunderous pulse of Taiko drums fused with the ethereal pluck of Shamisen strings, the breathy whispers of Shinobue flutes, and the rich harmonies of piano, an unforgettable East-meets-West musical journey. Enjoy our performance with suggested donations, explore our silent auction, and celebrate local businesses alongside TAKOHACHI and Maido Mind.

Your ticket helps rent the historic Clinton Street Theater, maintain our Taiko drums, fund next year’s events, and provide Shamisen lessons and community outreach. Thank you for keeping the spirit of Taiko and Shamisen alive for generations to come!

Tickets are limited to 200 seats. Once all are made, ticket distribution will close. We encourage early reserving to ensure your spot. If you reserve ones and found not making it, please kindly email TakohachiTaiko@gmail.com to know about it.


Silent Auction & Raffle

  • Silent auction opens at 2:45 PM—browse unique items generously donated by local businesses and supporters. All auction proceeds benefit our recital series.and cultural keepsakes
  • Raffle tickets sold onsite; prize drawings at around 5 PM during the second set of the show.
  • All proceeds support future recitals, scholarships, and outreach programs
