Overview

By Writers for Democratic Action: DC+MD Chapter in partnership with Dupont Underground

At a time when courage is as necessary as it is scarce in our shared political life, Writers for Democratic Action invites members of the public to attend an afternoon of literary readings on the theme of courage.

On Sunday, November 16, from 2 to 3.30, several DC area writers -- Olga Grushin, Leeya Meyta, Marina Omar, and Hong Quynh Vo, among others -- will present a rich diversity of translations, poetry, essays, and fiction in DuPont Underground's performance space.
