Virginia Ziulu is a Fully Qualified and Insured Nutritional Therapist with over 12 years experience in the Health and Wellbeing industry.Virginia has a busy in person and online worldwide clinic with over 500+clients to date. She is trained in Functional Medicine principles and offers bespoke 1:1 Nutrition Programmes in the areas of Lipedema, Female Hormones, Perimenopause and Menopause, Inflammatory conditions like Lymphedema and Histamine issues.Virginia uses and recommends Functional Testing in her clinic, providing a detailed and personalized test interpretation to all her clients.One of the areas where Virginia has been focusing on within her Lipedema clinic work is Mast Cell Activation and Histamine Intolerance. She works with clients in Europe and the US and has collaborated in many Health Magazines and Guest Speaker at events and podcasts.
Virginia is going to discuss the practical side of an anti-inflammatory diet for Lipoedema. She will discuss the prevalence of Histamine Intolerance and Mast Cell Activation amongst Lipoedema patients and what can be done to improve it. She will also talk about some of her favourite supplements and approaches for Lipoedema she uses in her busy clinic.
Abigail Strike is a Certified Lymphoedema Therapist and lipoedema sufferer. Abigail's personal experience with lipoedema, combined with her extensive training and knowledge, allows her to provide empathetic and specialised care to her clients.Abigail is fully qualified in FG-MLD (fluoroscopy guided manual lymphatic drainage) .This method is highly recognised by the NHS and by the Cancer Research UK charity.Abigail started her career as a Sports Massage therapist, as a level 4 SOFT TISSUE THERAPIST which enables her to asses, treat and offer post care advice which is something she has taken through into all her treatments.Being qualified in Oncology and Scar Therapy has enabled her to adjust my treatments as and when required to be effective yet SAFE.
Abigail is going to talk about the importance of regular massage therapy for Lipoedema managment and will illustrate her favourite at home massage techniques. Abigail will talk about some of her favourite tools she uses herself and talk about her personal experience with Lipoedema.
