Here’s what you’ll enjoy:
- 🧙♂️ See the magic in action — watch a live woodturning demo as whimsical gnomes (we call them Whonks) come to life on the lathe.
- 🎨 Bring your gnome to life — decorate and design a pre-turned gnome with paints and details to give it its own personality (yes, you’ll even name your gnome before taking it home!).
- 🧺 Take home a keepsake — leave with a one-of-a-kind creation, perfect for gifting or displaying.
- 👩🎨 Beginner-friendly — no woodworking experience needed. You’ll watch the demo, not use tools.
- 🧑🤝🧑 Great with friends — small, cozy group sessions designed for connection, laughter, and fun.

Group Size: Limited to 8 participants per session for a cozy, personal experience. Larger groups may be possible — contact the organizer.

What to Bring: Closed-toe shoes are required for stepping into the demo area (garage).
Accessibility: Ramp access into the house and an accessible bathroom on the main floor. The woodturning demo takes place in the garage workshop with two steps down, but all decorating and assembling happens on the main level.
Age Recommendation: Recommended for ages 12 and up. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Younger guests may be considered with prior approval — please contact the organizer before booking.
Waiver: A simple safety waiver will be provided before we begin. The form also includes a photo release with a checkbox so you can choose whether or not to be in pictures.
Photos: Guests are welcome to take photos during the experience. Capture your gnome’s journey and share the fun — just let us know if you prefer not to be in group photos.
