Take a Bird to Lunch: Children's Program, $4 per child upon arrival

By NYS Parks Long Island Environmental Education

Overview

Make a bird feeder to help winter birds in your yard!

From St. Johnland Road, head all the way north on Kings Park Blvd. past the Marine Resources Division until you reach the roundabout. Park in the small lot right of the roundabout and enter the main office.

Many birds are migrating south, or bulking up for the long winter ahead. We will make bird feeders with natural materials to give migrant birds, and year-long residents an extra boost!

$4 cash per child upon arrival. Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early.

If you have other questions about this program, please call our office at 631-581-1072
