Tailored Shirt Class

Tailored Shirt Class

By KFLY

Overview

Learn the steps to making a Tailored Shirt.

Welcome to the Tailored Shirt Class, perfect for anyone looking to enhance their sewing skills.

This 5 part series is focusing on the cutting and sewing of a tailored shirt. We will not be creating a tailored pattern, it's about focusing on techniques like sewing a collar with a collar stand, sewing plackets and cuffs and practicing our edge stitches and rolled hems.

Please bring 3-4yards of light to medium weight cotton, it can be wild or boring but it has to be a natural fiber material for pressing purposes.

We always recommended shopping at Stitches, and we've got the rest of the supplies including thread.

This is an advanced sewing class, and you don't need to have years of experience, but we would like you to feel confident with grainlines, edge stitching and a many-steps process.

Please sign up for the Tote Bag or Pants Class if you need a refresher, and also reach out if a different day of the week or timeframe is needed.

For any and all questions google can't answer, please email the instructor Katy at kflyseattle@gmail.com
