Tai Chi in the Woods BEGINNERS
Overview
Tai Chi uses gentle graceful movements to stimulate ‘Chi’ or energy flow through the body. This calms the mind, improves balance and flexibility, and strengthens the immune system.
Classes started in May 2025 in the field next to the Wellington Statue Carpark, and due to continuing popular demand will now continue indefinitely. Please note that as the days shorten and the weather is becoming less welcoming we are transferring the class to an indoor space nearby. We'll be back outside and in the woods as soon as possible in the Spring!
The first session is free and thereafter there is a small charge of £2.00 to cover expenses. All you need are flat soft shoes, loose clothing and some drinking water.
Children are welcome but all under 16yr olds must be accompanied by an adult.
