City of Lewisville offers free fitness classes in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, across from City Hall, every week from May-December.
Tai Chi in the Plaza, 16-form with Lowell Johnson, focuses on the 16-movement form of Tai Chi, which is one slow, big movement and flowing form that can help relieve the physical effects of stress on the body and mind, promotes balance control, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. Participants are encouraged to wear loose comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes.
In addition to weekly Tai Chi classes, we offer free yoga class on Wednesdays, Bodyweight Strength of Thursdays and Pilates, also on Saturday mornings. There are several restaurants and retail establishments near by if you want to stick around after class. https://oldtownlewisville.com/
