About this Event
Kim Herforth Nielsen, the founder and managing partner of the Danish-based 3XN, will be the fifth guest of the architectural event T Meetings, which was initiated by Şişecam Flat Glass with the slogan “The Transparent Face of Architecture”, organized in cooperation with Arkitera Architecture Center.
The event, moderated by architect Bilge Kobaş, will be broadcast live on Arkitera's YouTube channel and Facebook account, starting from 16:00 (GMT+3) on Wednesday, June 17.
About Kim Herforth Nielsen
Architect MAA/RIBA, Kim H. Nielsen is Founder and Principal of 3XN. Since the start of the company in 1986, Kim H. Nielsen has been the creative driving force behind 3XN. He functions as the creative director and has overall responsibility for the architectural quality of 3XN’s work from the idea to the final result. Working closely with the Competition Department, Kim directs the group with a high degree of personal involvement in each project. Kim Herforth Nielsen has been involved in all of the practice’s major projects, including the Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney, Copenhagen Arena, the aquarium The Blue Planet, Museum of Liverpool, Ørestad College in Copenhagen, Muziekgebouw Concert Hall in Amsterdam, IOC Headquarters in Lausanne, and the UN City HQ in Copenhagen and many more.
Kim H. Nielsen is often called upon as a jury member in International architectural competitions and as a lecturer at art academies and universities around the world.
About T Meetings
The T Meetings conference series, which was organized for the first time on December 11, 2014 with the participation of Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, hosted Dutch architect Winy Maas in 2015.
Dan Stubbergaard, the founder of the Danish architecture office COBE, took place as a speaker in the event, which was held for the third time in 2017, and the fourth guest of the event in 2018 was Ma Yansong.

Şişecam Düzcam’ın “Mimarinin Şeffaf Yüzü” sloganıyla başlattığı, Arkitera Mimarlık Merkezi iş birliğiyle düzenlenen mimarlık etkinliği T Buluşmaları’nın beşinci konuğu Danimarka merkezli 3XN'nin kurucusu ve yönetici ortağı mimar Kim Herforth Nielsen olacak.
Moderatörlüğünü mimar Bilge Kobaş’ın yapacağı etkinlik 17 Haziran Çarşamba günü saat 16:00’dan itibaren Arkitera’nın YouTube ve Facebook hesaplarından canlı olarak yayınlanacak.

Danimarka’nın prestijli ofisi 3XN’nin kurucusu ve yönetici ortağı mimar, Kim H. Nielsen 1986 yılında şirketin kuruluşundan ofisin arkasındaki yaratıcı güç olmuştur. Halen ofisin yaratıcı yöneticisi olarak da görev yapan Nielsen, fikirden nihai sonuca kadar 3XN’nin çalışmalarının mimari kalitesi konusunda karar verici konumunda.Ofisin Sydney’deki Quay Quarter Tower, Kopenhag Arena, The Blue Planet Akvaryumu, Liverpool Müzesi, Kopenhag’daki Ørestad Koleji, Amsterdam’daki Muziekgebouw Konser Salonu, Lozan’daki IOC Genel Merkezi de dahil olmak üzere tüm önemli projelerinde Kim Herforth Nielsen’in imzası yer alıyor.

İlki 11 Aralık 2014’te Japon mimar Sou Fujimoto‘nun katılımıyla düzenlenen ve büyük ilgi gören T Buluşmaları konferans serisinin 2015’teki konuğu Hollandalı mimar Winy Maas, 2017 yılındaki konuğu Danimarkalı mimarlık ofisi COBE’nin kurucusu Dan Stubbergaard, 2018’deki konuğu ise Ma Yansong olmuştu.
