About this Event

On November 2, in the heart of New York City, SYREN Modern Dance will celebrate its on-going program Science in Motion. See SYREN in action, enjoy some wine and appetizers, and learn more about the company's adventure exploring the intersection of science and art since 2015. Meet Astrophysicist and collaborator Dr. Paul Sutter, whose vivid narrations are an integral part of Ticktock, SYREN's newest work that investigates time.

Science in Motion is STEAM program bringing dance and science to new audiences through a focus on the intersection of these two worlds. From a one hour workshop to a multi-day visit, this program can be crafted for a wide audience spectrum but is geared toward students ages 13-18, and is designed to ignite curiosity, communication, and creativity in its participants.
