Please join us for NASTAD's inaugural hybrid workshop, “Synergizing Stigma Reduction and Policy to Enhance HIV Prevention Programs,” being held through our Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) program. This workshop will occur through two interactive sessions, either in-person or over Zoom, on January 20-21, 2022, from San Antonio, Texas from 11:15 am - 5:00 pm (CT) each day.

In-Person Participant Information:

Registration Deadline – Open through January 18; first-come, first-served
Maximum Capacity: 12 Registrants
Lodging – Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio. Our team will follow up with confirmed in-person attendees with hotel block and health and safety information. Reminder: NASTAD is unable to provide travel or lodging support for this workshop.
NASTAD will provide KN95 masks, disinfectant wipes, and purell hand sanitizer for the duration of the workshop.

The workshop objectives are to:

Explore where stigma manifests in both formal and informal HIV Prevention program policy.
Understand the ways that specific policy issues can affect HIV prevention programs across Southern jurisdictions.
Identify best practices surrounding stigma reduction to inform the development of culturally sensitive program policy.
