The Embassy of Sweden in Washington, DC are excited to continue its rooftop film series 2025, showcasing a selection of Swedish films that celebrate the rich cultural heritage and cinematic excellence of Sweden.
Our last rooftop screening of this season is: HACKING HATE (2024).
Director Simon Klose follows award-winning journalist My Vingren to reveal Sweden's hidden extremist networks and online radicalization in a powerful documentary.
The film will be screened on the rooftop (weather permitting) of the Embassy of Sweden.

About the film
Through a deep investigation into right-wing extremism, determined journalist My Vingren enters a disturbing digital underworld of violent intentions. As she infiltrates deeper into these networks, she uncovers how young recruits are radicalized through social media and how tech companies profit from extremist content. As she gets closer to the network's core, she uncovers more about its mysterious leader and the dangerous reality of online radicalization that affects society worldwide.
