Nope! All paces are welcome—run, jog, or walk. This is a relaxed, family-friendly event meant for everyone to enjoy.
The race begins at West Park and finishes at FiberHawk Communications (112 S Washington St, Swayzee, IN).
Check-in begins at 7:00 AM. We recommend arriving early to pick up your race packet and warm up before the 7:30 AM start.
Your registration includes: A commemorative medal (register by Aug 26 to guarantee) Free pancake breakfast (8:00–10:30 AM) Entry to the 5K and eligibility for race prizes
Yes, same-day registration is available starting at 7:00 AM. However, shirts/medals are only guaranteed if you register by August 26.
Yes! Strollers and leashed pets are welcome—we want everyone to be part of the fun.
Yes, key streets along the route will be closed or partially blocked for safety. Volunteers and signage will guide runners.

Yes, but we’re keeping it simple and personal! While we won’t be using a chip timing system, each participant will be timed based on their race number and order of finish. Our volunteers will be at the finish line to track times manually.
